for stopping by! I am Sofhan Hasni and I am extremely passionate about food to
the point of scaring myself at times! Bake them, cook them, experiment
with them and devour them! I LOVE THEM ALL!
This is a page where I share my food and kitchen adventures with the
world. Or you can call this my online recipe book. It's easier for me to
document my food experiments here because I have a memory of a goldfish. It is
also a bad habit of mine, to look up a couple of different versions of a recipe
and combine them together. So basically, what you'll find on this blog, are
those combinations that I have tried before. I share
most of the recipes that I have tried in the past and trust me, most of the
recipes are fool proof.
When I moved out and went to pursue my Degree in Montreal, I fell
in love with cooking! Who knew being in the kitchen can be so therapeutic?
Since then on, I cope with my stress through creating different kinds of
gastronomical experiences in my tiny apartment. Different kinds of cheesecake,
pastries, and proteins you name it! Deep down inside, I do believe that cooking
can mend broken souls (and fill up hungry tummies). Now back in Malaysia, I am
currently trying not to be annoyed with the hot Malaysian sun melting my
buttercream, trying not to be offended by GST on baking goods and trying not to
roll my eyes at how expensive berries are at the supermarket!
So if you are passionate about food like I am, we really should be
friends ;)
